Fabrizio, the Rainbow Pig

Share:

Fabrizio (or Fab, as his friends like to call him) belongs to a very rare and relatively unknown breed: the rainbow pig. He is very shy and doesn’t normally like to be photographed, but I managed to catch him in a very good mood after seeing his first double rainbow in the sky. 🙂

Materials needed:

Acrylic DK or worsted yarn in the colours of the rainbow – red, orange, yellow, blue, green, purple, violet – and a small amount of black for the nostrils.
3 mm crochet hook
a pair of 6 mm safety eyes
polyester stuffing
yarn needle

Abbreviations used:
sc = single crochet
inc = increase
dec = decrease
sl st = slip stitch
ch = chain
st = stitch
sts = stitches
BLO = in back loops only
FO = fasten off
mr = magic ring
CC = change colour

*This pattern uses American terminology.
**Gauge is not important for this project.
