Materials needed
- DK yarn in main colour, white / cream, wrap colour, nose colour (pink, salmon, light purple, etc) and black for mouth & eyebrows.
- 3 mm crochet hook (or 2.50 mm for a smaller version)
- Yarn needle

Body/Dress
Start with main colour.

Bottom of dress
With top of body facing you, attach main colour yarn in one of the free front loops of R4.

R2: ch 3, dc in next st, dc in each st across, ss in first dc (23 dc + 1 ss)

Stuff body and continue working from R14.

Insert safety eyes. To determine the position for the left eye, count 4 sts to the right from your current position and 2 rounds down. Insert right eye ~ 5 sts apart.

Continue from R24 of head (I’ve reset the count to 1 to make it easier).

Ss in next. Stuff lightly. FO leaving long tail for sewing. Sew arms to body.
Finishing touches
Embroider nose and mouth. Eyebrows are optional. I used DK pink, salmon or light purple yarn for the nose and black lace yarn for the mouth and eyebrows (you can also use DK yarn, but you might want to split it in thinner threads to give it a more delicate look).
Wrap
The wrap is worked in straight rows, so don’t forget to chain 1 and turn at the end of each row.
Ch 13
R1: 2 sc in second ch from the hook.
